Sunday June 29th.
Rapidan River in Shenandoah Park. Fished late afternoon looking for those lurking brookies. Water was clear and flow about typical for this time of year. Perfect for wet wading. There was no appreciable bug activity until about 6pm and then some fish started taking sulphurs on the surface. Had no problem hooking and landing brook trout in nearly every pool we fished with several nice fish in the 12" range. We have dates open for on stream lessons or guiding in July so give us a call!
